Area Location: East on 800 North in Orem in Utah County.

Notes: Follow the Provo Canyon road for about 5 miles. Turn right at Vivian Park, and travel up the South Fork road about 3.5 miles. Turn right and follow the road to the southwest corner of the park.

Notes: Big Springs is a large area of springs with lots of vegitation. A walkway has been built through the spring area to add to your enjoyment.

Notes: The saddle is between Shingle Mill Peak and the Cascade Summit. Its the gateway to most of the Provo/Cascade range.

Notes: Shingle Mill Peak is one of the easier peak in the Cascade/Provo Peak range to climb. The reward is great views of the other peaks in the area, as weel as Utah Valley below.
