Distance from Provo Canyon: 10.0 miles
Area: Squaw Peak Road
Area Location: 2 miles east of mouth of Provo Canyon. Turn right.
Area Fee: None
Dogs Allowed: Yes
Notes: There is not even a wide spot in the road at this trailhead. It is actually just a place where the trail from Rock Canyon crosses the road. Starting here would cut off that part of the hike.

Notes: The saddle is between Shingle Mill Peak and the Cascade Summit. Its the gateway to most of the Provo/Cascade range.

Cascade Mountain
 Elevation: 10910  Feature: Peak
Notes: The large mountain east of Provo/Orem and south of Mt Timp is Cascade Peak. The geology as seen from the valley below makes it a unique sight.
