Notes: Dry Creek is a popular trailhead with hikers and horse riders, located in the northeast corner of Alpine. The trailhead is at the end of the road that goes past the Alpine Rodeo Grounds.

Waypoint 1
East Hamongog
 Elevation: 7280  Feature: Meadow
Notes: It’s not as well known as the other 2 hamongogs (meadows), and people passing through might not even realize they are in the hamongog. Still, in my opinion, its the easiest way to Lake Hardy.

Destination
First Hamongog
 Elevation: 7100  Feature: Meadow
Notes: First, what is a hamongog? In this instance, it means moutain meadow. The name is derived from a reference in the bible meaning Valley of the multitudes of Gog. The trail is to this meadow is somewhat boring. However, all trails leading away are fantastic. The trail splits here, the left for continues to 2nd Hamongog and the right trail go to East Hamongog.
