Getting There: East on 3800 S in Salt Lake County
Entrance Fee: $3 Dogs Allowed
Notes: This canyon provided wood for the first area settlers. Many side canyons are named for mill operators, such as Porter, Bowman and Alexander. Mill Creek water is used only for irregation, so dogs are allowed in this canyon. However, they should be leashed on EVEN numbered dates. Mountain bikers are allowed to ride trails on even numbered dates. The road is closed east of Maple Cove CG from November 1st to July 1st, so eastern trailheads are accessed through non-motorized methods.
